Reverse Advent - Food Drive 2024

Once again, we are looking to help give back to our wonderful community. For the month of December, Oak Tree Winery is sponsoring a Food Drive which we are calling, "Reverse Advent Calendar" to help collect food donations for the Windsor Presbyterian Church Food Pantry. 

This is how it works:

• Pick up an empty box at Tasting Notes
• Each day add an item to the box 
• Boxes can be completed at any time
• Bring filled box back to Tasting Notes
• Please return back by Sun, Dec 22

Pickup & Drop off Location:

As a token of appreciation, for each person who participates, we'll provide a coupon for a free splash or wine during the months of January and February.

300+ people get free healthy food at the Windsor Presbyterian Church Food Pantry each week.

Our clients choose their own food in a Farmer’s Market-style setting, selecting items that match their lifestyle, nutritional needs and taste preferences. We can’t do it without the help of our Windsor community.

Can you volunteer to help?  Here’s how!

• Sort & prep donated food (Monday)
• Transport food (various days, vehicle needed)
• Make price-check calls to local stores  (weekends)
• Set up/tear down Farmer’s Market tables (Tuesdays)
• Check expiration dates & organize food (any day)
• Help give food away (Tuesday mornings)
